I sometimes joke that being a designer is not too far from being a therapist. Hearing the stated needs. Discovering the unstated needs. Understanding and feeling what is important to the people I'm designing for, clients as well as end-users.
I'm Arijit Das, a human-centered designer practicing for just over twenty years.
My first decade primarily focused on developing stand-alone e-learning products for specialized audiences. The second decade was digital product design for startups and enterprise.
As I begin decade three, I'm excited to explore new ways to improve lives and communities through design.
I am currently working independently, based in Brooklyn, and available for projects. Have a design challenge?
